With the New Year comes the ever impending New Years resolutions. We make this long list of things we want to do over the next 12 months. Such as eating healthy, going to the gym 5 times a week, being better with our financials and the list goes on and on. We start strong and then right around February/March we start to break a little and before you know it, you've completely given up and say to yourself that you will just try again next year. For this reason alone is why I don't like making resolutions where the standard is pretty much set to fail. I do however, like making a list. A list of all the things I would like to see happen, but going into the year fulling knowing that maybe I won't get to them all. That way, at the end of the year, I can look back at all of WHAT I DID ACCOMPLISH and be so proud of myself. I won't get discouraged or beat down on myself for what I didn't do. There is a lot on my list this year. Everything from places I want to visit, to work goals, to personal goals and to growing in my relationship with my Savior up in Heaven. One goal I want to see myself accomplish this year is this website/blog. I have tried my hand at blogging before but it never really panned out how I wanted. So, I'm trying again (and remember, it's ok to fail, and more than once at something. Thats how we grow!!). I want to use this platform as a way to share my thoughts, adventures, what's going on in my life and everything in between. I am very excited for what this year has to hold. I am going into it with an open mind and zero expectations of what I think is going to happen, and that is what's going to make this year so intriguing!!
Happy New Year!
